![]() The annual Hoops for Hope basketball game between Southwest and Hope Valley Elementary took place on March 25th...Southwest won the game for the 4th year in a row! Go Seahawks! All proceeds from the game and the raffle went to Alex's Lemonade Stand. Check back soon for pictures! Also coming soon...photos from our Girls on the Run Practice 5k, which took place on March 27th. Come support our girls at the Wondergirl 5k on April 19th at Meadowmont in Chapel Hill! On March 11th, 2008, Southwest took part in the DPS Technology Showcase. Students from Ms. Cronin's class demonstrated how they created PowerPoint presentations about the Revolutionary War. Leap Day, February 29th, Was a Big Day at Southwest! Our second graders created a wax museum to demonstrate what they had learned during Black History Month...and our Tae Kwon Do students graduated to their orange belts!
